The “Double Tabak Roaring LION” is a custom built, designed & tested unique guitar dual powered AC/DC amplifier.
Featuring a built in pre-amp feeding a 10 Watt dual channel amp it powers 2 quality 3″ speakers and a sound hole. This pre-amp adequately boosts the signal level of most pickups to a level they will drive the power amp without a problem. Many cigar box guitars require an external pre-amp. This one does not.
It is powered by a 12v 2800 Mhr Lithium Ion Rechargeable Battery producing about 10x more power than a normal 9v Nicad. It can be recharged with a provided 12v Lion charger. We offer an optional 6800 mhr battery upgrade.
You can also play with a normal 12v 2a power supply (not supplied) that most of us have at hand.
It’s designed as a portable amp and capable of filling it can fill normal rooms with sound. It produces a lot of sound and can run for extended time period with the included battery pack.
